OUR COMPANY POLICY
Napa and Sonoma Wine Tour Company Policy
Welcome to our Napa and Sonoma wine tour services! We prioritize clear communication and exceptional experiences. Below, find our policies on cancellations, payments, itineraries, and more to ensure a smooth wine country adventure.
Cancellation Policy for Tours and Services
72-Hour Cancellation for Designated Drivers
When you provide credit card details, you agree to our 72-hour cancellation policy for designated driver services. Cancel outside 72 hours? No charge applies. Cancel within 72 hours? We charge the full balance for the agreed-upon hours. Contact us at 707-294-0007 to cancel—phone calls only, no texts or emails.
3-Day Cancellation for Vehicles
For vehicle bookings, we enforce a 3-day cancellation period. Cancellations within this window incur the full service cost. Ensure timely communication to avoid charges.
Itinerary Cancellation Terms
If we create your tour itinerary and you cancel (inside or outside the 72-hour window), a 50% non-refundable fee applies for the planning effort. Itineraries cannot change within 72 hours due to winery scheduling constraints, especially on weekends. Want to modify your itinerary? Notify us in writing via email, and you take responsibility for changes.
Credit Card and Payment Policy
Secure Booking Process
We require a credit card to book your Napa or Sonoma wine tour. Your information stays secure at our office—we don’t carry it during tours. On tour day, we process payments via PayPal, Square, or office equipment. If internet issues arise, we may photograph your card for verification, processing it later at the office. We delete the image after use.
Card Verification
We reserve the right to validate your card or process it within 72 hours of your tour or the day before. Providing false information violates California Penal Code 532a and may involve authorities.
Itinerary Planning Guidelines
Complimentary Itinerary Service
We offer free itinerary planning for booked wine tours, valued at $150. Leave a positive review, and we waive this fee! We craft itineraries based on your wine preferences, budget, and lodging location, using your provided winery list. However, we release itineraries only within 72 hours of your tour to prevent misuse.
Your Role in Itinerary Planning
Submit your itinerary at least 24 hours before your tour via email (preferred) or phone. No texting—it’s unreliable. Provide accurate details: arrival time, lodging, and winery preferences. For best results, book wineries 30 days in advance, as many are busy or closed on weekends. We’re a driving service, not an itinerary service, so your input is crucial.
Itinerary Requirements
Your itinerary must include pickup/drop-off locations (same place) and a complete winery list. Changing plans last-minute? Inform the driver, but we won’t research new spots while driving for safety. Rushed itineraries (under 30 days) may limit options. If we create your itinerary and you cancel without discussion, we charge for planning time.
Safety and Driving Policies
Safe Navigation in Wine Country
Sonoma and Napa roads rank among California’s most dangerous, per Vital Signs of CA. Our drivers prioritize safety, using GPS for accuracy as wineries frequently change. We won’t search for new locations while driving—drivers can stop safely to research if needed.
No Animals Allowed
For safety, we prohibit animals in our vehicles. In emergencies, pets can pose hazards. Please plan accordingly.
Guest Responsibilities
Accurate Residence Information
Provide correct city, address, and phone numbers 72 hours before your tour. Incorrect details (e.g., wrong city to bypass pricing) may result in cancellation or additional fees. VRBO/Airbnb listings provide accurate city details—use those.
Effective Communication
We strive to connect with you upon arrival. Many wine country areas lack cell service, so use residence phones or check messages where service is available. We attempt contact via two phone calls, email, or your hotel. Cooperation ensures a seamless experience.
Responsible Drinking
Enjoy wine tasting responsibly. You’re liable for injuries during vehicle entry/exit. We’re not responsible for purchased wine—secure it in the vehicle. Misconduct may lead to tour cancellation with full charges. Vomit or vehicle damage incurs a $1,000 cleaning fee.
Special Considerations
Handicapped Guests
We welcome handicapped guests who can enter/exit vehicles independently or with help from others. Drivers cannot assist due to insurance restrictions. We’re not liable for related incidents.
Minors on Tours
Minors require proper seating (provided by you) per law. Children under 18 cannot stay in vehicles during tastings—take them with you. Incorrect seating or leaving minors unattended cancels the tour with full charges. Notify us of children when booking.
Driver Conduct and Complaints
Our licensed drivers ensure a smooth experience. Issues? Call 707-294-0007 immediately. Gratuity is optional—only give what’s earned. False information or payment disputes may involve authorities per California law.
Wine Tour Service Details
Tour Duration and Payment
Tours run 4, 6, or 10 hours continuously—no splitting hours. Payment (cash or credit) is due at tour’s end. Cash payments receive a discount; insufficient cash reverts to credit card rates plus 20% gratuity. Confirm cash amounts with the driver. No pickup time changes within 24 hours.
Airport Transfers
You must update us on flight changes, as we don’t access your airline emails. Waiting beyond the original time incurs extra charges.
